Real estate sector urged to change attitude towards cyber-attacks

Real estate companies are being encouraged to change their attitude towards cyber-attacks after a report warned the sector is largely unprepared for data breaches.

A survey commissioned by Drooms, a provider of secure cloud solutions, found more than two in five (41 per cent) real estate professionals in Europe believe their industry is unprepared to deal with cyber-attacks. Only four per cent believe the industry is extremely well prepared and 55 per cent believe preparations are “moderate”.
