Pension funds turn to long income property to meet their liabilities

Long income property is becoming an increasingly attractive asset class for pension funds seeking secure income in the current low-yielding and uncertain macro-economic environment.

Alpha Real Capital, a specialist manager of long income real assets, says it has seen an increase in demand from institutional and other real money investors in European long income property, which includes ground rents, income strips and other long lease property.
