SMEG Polska relocates HQ and showroom to Prosta Tower in Warsaw
SMEG, a manufacturer of high-quality household appliances, is relocating its new office and showroom to the Prosta Tower office building in Warsaw. Walter Herz advised the company on the selection of the location and negotiation of lease terms
Global brand SMEG, one of the leading manufacturers of kitchen appliances and household appliances in Europe, which has been present in our country for seven years, chose Prosta Tower for its new headquarters in Poland. In the office building located at Prosta Street, in the most modern business centre in Warsaw, SMEG Polska will also open the company’s showroom. In a representative studio measuring 210 sq m. the company will provide an exhibition of its innovative, designer products, inspired by retro style, which are widely recognised as a symbol of excellent quality and Italian style.
SMEG company, based in Guastalla, Italy, has over a dozen foreign branches, including offices in Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia, four production plants in Italy and an extensive worldwide sales network of household appliances and professional equipment dedicated to restaurants and laboratories. In connection with the brand’s development plans on our market, SMEG Polska is relocating its headquarters to Prosta Tower building, where its new office will occupy the entire floor.
"Technology and style are the motto of SMEG company, for which style is of particular value. This applies not only to beautiful SMEG products, but also to everything related to the Italian design trendsetter. Inspired by our company's headquarters, located in San Girolamo, near Guastalla, which was designed by world-class architect Guido Canali, we were looking for a unique and distinctive space for a new office and showroom. Everything we were looking for was found in Prosta Tower building," says Mikołaj Steblecki, member of the management board of SMEG Polska.
"Our team’s task of was to provide SMEG Polska with comprehensive support in choosing the optimal location that would meet its development needs on the Polish market. We were looking not only for a suitable office space, but also for a prestigious place to create the brand’s showroom. A suitable building with architecture that would correspond to the unique design of the products offered by SMEG. These conditions were met by Prosta Tower office building, where our company is also based. The lease process was carried out very efficiently thanks to the commitment and professional approach of all parties," says Emilia Legierska, Senior Leading Negotiator at Walter Herz.
"We are glad that a company with tradition dating back to 1948, cooperating with world-famous architects and designers to provide customers around the world with renowned equipment and household appliances distinguished by unique design, is relocating its headquarters and showroom to Prosta Tower building. We would like the office building to continue attracting equally interesting brands and, doing as great as it has been doing so far, despite the big changes that we can currently observe on the commercial real estate market," says Robert Gietko, representative of the owner of the building.

A beautiful view of the panorama of Warsaw will certainly be a great addition, but also an undeniable advantage, of a carefully thought-out interior design of the new headquarters of the Italian manufacturer," adds Monika Rogucka, Leasing Director at Corees Polska, the agency that supported the landlord in the process of negotiating the lease agreement.
Prosta Tower is an 18-storey office building with a total area of 8400 sq m. The office building is located in the very centre of Warsaw, and is characterised by a glass façade with a front in the shape of an irregular pane of concrete blocks in the form of diamonds. It has the most modern air-conditioning and fire protection systems, integrated with monitoring and management system, as well as professional security.
