FinTech company relocates headquarters to Munich's Werksviertel
R&S Immobilienmanagement has let 3,650 square metres of office space in the iCampus, in the Werksviertel district of Munich, to a FinTech/ IT company.
The technology company will move into its headquarters to the Werksviertel in the third quarter of 2022.
The newly let space, at Friedenstrasse 22a, is situated in the Rhenania Haus B complex. HENN Architekten, Munich, have designed the Rhenania-Neubau (newbuild) subproject, a constituent part of the iCampus, as a modern interpretation of the industrial in the Werksviertel.
A gross floor area of around 20,000 square metres, providing inter alia flexible ‘loft’-style and open-plan office accommodation suitable for a variety of uses, is currently under construction. Plainly structured glazed facades and generous roof terraces individualise the style of the overall complex. 260 underground parking spaces, plus bicycle storage areas, showers and changing rooms complement the provision for the tenants. The freeholder was advised by GSK Stockmann and the tenant by Stuttgart law firm Menold Bezler.

The "iCampus im Werksviertel" is part of the Munich Werksviertel district, with excellent public transport connections in its location directly opposite Munich's Ostbahnhof station. The district comprises ten buildings, with a total floor area of around 110,000 square metres, meeting the highest standards of design, functionality and efficiency.
