LaSalle achieves practical completion and first letting at 60 London Wall
LaSalle Investment Management has announced the practical completion of and first office letting at 60 London Wall, a 10-storey office-led development in the City of London, acquired on behalf of The California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS).
The first letting of 52,800 sq ft on the 7th and 8th floors of the building will be taken by AllianceBernstein. The investment management and research firm will be relocating their London offices from Mayfair to 60 London Wall and will take occupation later in 2021.
60 London Wall provides new Grade A office accommodation over 10 upper floors totalling 328,000 sq ft the ground floor offers multi-functional, flexible accommodation together with eight retail units. The building has been designed with excellence and sustainability in mind and has been awarded a BREEAM ‘outstanding’ rating and targets a 2-star Fitwell rating. The adaptable office floor plates range from 18,000 sq ft to 40,000 sq ft designed around the crucifix-shaped central core enabling four points of access. The upper five floors benefit from generous, landscaped terraces with multiple points of access providing fabulous views north towards Finsbury Circus and east to the tower-cluster.
An imposing double-height entrance fronts London Wall facing the green open space of Finsbury Circus welcomes visitors into a tranquil and expansive reception lobby. A generous glazed atrium runs through the heart of the building, animated by glazed wall climber lifts, floods the office floors with light. The base of the atrium provides an informal seating, break-out and meeting area for occupiers and their guests to enjoy and leads though to a secondary entrance on Copthall Avenue. The building offers best in class end of journey amenities with a generous cycle, shower and locker provision for the building occupants; these are all uniquely located at ground floor level.

60 London Wall is designed by EPR Architects with March and White the interiors architect. The building was constructed by Skanska on behalf of LaSalle and Citygrove Securities. LaSalle and Citygrove’s advisers include property consultants Gleeds and engineering consultants Mecserve.
