Stenprop appoints former Hertz and Expedia executive as Group Sales and Marketing Director
Stenprop, a UK multi-let industrial (MLI) property company, has appointed John Whitley to the newly created role of Group Sales and Marketing Director.
Whitley will play a key role supporting the Company as it continues to transition towards being 100% MLI, with a particular focus on driving the strategic growth of industrials.co.uk, Stenprop’s proprietary, technology enabled asset management platform.
Whitley will be based in Stenprop’s Stockport office, reflecting the nature of the Company’s regionally diverse portfolio, and will report directly to Managing Director Julian Carey. The appointment reflects the executive management’s belief in the importance of this critical business function in meeting the wider corporate goals.
Whitley will primarily be responsible for driving the growth of the Industrials platform, optimising the customer journey and refining the lead generation function. The appointment is in line with Stenprop’s goal of building out its team nationally across all business and support functions, as it continues to establish what is the foremost MLI operating platform in the UK.
Whitley brings with him a wealth of experience spanning the sales, marketing and product management sectors. He was most recently Sales & Marketing Director at Landmark Space, a flexible office provider with a nationwide portfolio of 52 centres, prior to which he held the roles of Senior Director of CRM & Loyalty at Hertz and Commercial Director at Expedia.
