Knight Frank adds senior hire to Energy, Sustainability and Natural Resources team

Knight Frank has appointed Nick Hillard as Partner, Energy, Sustainability and Natural Resources, to support the growth and expansion of the existing team.

The Knight Frank Energy, Sustainability and Natural Resources team provide a wide range of advisory services to clients across the commercial, residential, and rural real estate sectors. The common theme cutting through all services is to support clients on their journey to net zero carbon.

Hillard will be responsible for leading upon a number of key client instructions and will be centrally involved in the development of new services focused upon ESG (environmental, social & governance) strategy, net zero carbon pathways, asset level decarbonisation projects, carbon sequestration and natural capital. The recruitment is a key part of the team’s expansion strategy.

Prior to joining Knight Frank, Hillard was Sustainability Director at BNP Paribas Real Estate and previously held senior sustainability management positions at the University of Warwick and at WSP.
