bp leases Fitzrovia property from TOG to serve as new innovation hub

bp has leased Douglas House, a 50,000 sq ft property in Fitzrovia, London from leading design-led, flexible office space provider, TOG (The Office Group), to establish a more agile way of working for more than a thousand of its UK based employees. 

TOG has designed a custom digital hub for bp in its new building, Douglas House. Opening in November 2020, the hub will provide 700 desks for the 1,000 employees and includes a barista bar operated by Caravan, a state of the art gym operated by Manor, as well as a roof terrace and 6th floor event space. Once completed, it will become home to their London-based venturing, digital and mobility futures teams.

 
The deal was brokered by Instant Offices. Douglas House was one of 12 options short-listed to develop an agile workplace for bp’s teams. From the point of appointment to site selection, Instant ran building analysis, commercial modelling and an advisory role on behalf of bp.
