Tattersall Lorenz launches residential property management subsidiary
Tattersall Lorenz an owner-managed SME property manager based in Berlin, has founded talyo Property Services (talyo), a new subsidiary which will focus exclusively on the property management of residential real estate.
The company is initially being headed by Susanne Tattersall as sole managing director.
Talyo is already under way, with a property management instruction for around 2,000 residential units in Berlin. The objective is to expand the portfolio under management to around 20.000 up to 25,000 residential units by 2025. As well as traditional rental apartments, these will include serviced apartments in the 'Student housing' and 'Business apartments' segments.
Susanne Tattersall says: "Residential properties, as an asset class, are highly sought-after by real estate investors. As a successful commercial property manager, Tattersall Lorenz has repeatedly been approached by clients to accept instructions in the residential property sector. We are responding to this demand by founding talyo. We are now able to offer our company's well-known high quality property management services for this sector as well. Right from the outset, we are focussing strongly on the topics of digitalisation and technology, as well as integrated service solutions for the residential property we are managing.
"We will also be a competent partner for ESG-compliant residential investments, supporting our clients with appropriate expertise and technology. We are confident that, with Tattersall·Lorenz and talyo, we will be available to offer top-class solutions for all asset classes."
