Dunmoore secures planning consent and final pre-let for Ashford site

Dunmoore, a UK real estate investment and development company, has secured planning consent at its trade counter development in Ashford for a 3,000 sq ft standalone pod, which has been pre-let to Easy Bathrooms.

The trade development at 3-4 Hilton Road, which was purchased and comprehensively refurbished in less than five months, is now fully pre-let with Easy Bathrooms joining Screwfix, Crown Paints and F1 Autocentres, all of which will be taking occupation in the coming weeks.

Jeff Hobby, managing director and owner of Dunmoore, says: “The granting of planning consent and subsequent pre-let to Easy Bathroom concludes what has been a very quick and ultimately successful business plan.

“We are delighted with the tenant profile of national operators secured, with the site being a welcome addition to our ever-growing Made for Trade portfolio. As ever, we continue to look for further opportunities in the market."

Rapleys acted for Dunmoore and London Clancy represented Easy Bathrooms.
The site is the latest addition to Dunmoore’s Made for Trade trade counter portfolio which is worth in excess of £60 million, with further developments coming out of the ground at Billingshurst Trade Park, where Screwfix, Howdens and Euro Garages have signed pre-let agreements. The redevelopment of Mansfield South Trade Park has also started, with units from 2,500 – 5,000 sq ft available.
