Stronghill Capital appoints President and Chief Innovation Officer

Stronghill Capital (Stronghill), a small-balance commercial real estate lender, has appointed commercial real estate finance veteran Jack M Cohen as President and Chief Innovation Officer, effectively immediately.

Cohen brings nearly 40 years of direct, relevant experience to the job, enabling him to offer fresh, informed and creative insights as a leader.

In this role, Cohen is focused on enhancing Stronghill’s value proposition and growing its origination platform. This includes the implementation of innovative new processes, strategies and policies aimed at driving technological and loan ecosystem efficiencies, empowering associates, fueling product innovation and attracting top talent. In addition to benefiting borrowers, these changes serve to create a more powerful and reliable offering for Stronghill’s Channel Partners and Capital Partners. These partners rely on the Company to achieve their desired outcomes.

“Stronghill has built a successful lending platform and I look forward to building on this solid foundation and fostering innovation in a manner that’s value-additive to all of the Company’s constituents,” says Cohen. “We will do this by applying tomorrow’s thinking to yesterday’s business model. I have found this forward-looking approach to be highly effective at identifying and eliminating barriers to efficiency and effectiveness, improving the customer journey, strengthening relationships and enhancing our service proposition. In summary, we plan to create an even more reliable enterprise that is attuned to and supports the important, strategic initiatives of our customers.”
