Building tech partnerships in the real estate sector


The real estate sector has, to date, been slow to recognise and act on the opportunities provided by technological developments. But as Emily Perryman finds out from Mike Scott, head of real estate at Cripps Pemberton Greenish, building relationships in the tech sector is key to unlocking the full potential of the property sector.

It’s a view supported by another report out this week from Irish property company IPUT looking at how digital technology is influencing the expectations and demands of investors, owners and occupiers.

In other news, we report on Legal & General’s plans to deliver 3,500 affordable homes in the UK through partnerships with 14 housing associations, plus the launch of a new VC fund from M7 Structura dedicated to investing in real estate technology.
