Digitalising the real estate debt sector

This week, Oxane Partners co-founding partner Vishal Soni explains to Emily Perryman why he thinks the real estate debt sector could be ripe for digitalisation as professionals ditch manual processes and spreadsheets in favour of new tech-driven tools and solutions.

We also look at another new study out this week from property consultancy Carter Jonas which suggests that large-scale pre-lets in London are reducing office vacancy, constraining choice and increasing upward pressure on rents in the capital. And new research from Aviva Investors says institutional investor demand for real assets is still on the up despite the current challenging political and economic environment.

And in this week’s deal news, we report on HIG Capital’s acquisition of an office complex in Lyon. Heitman’s deal for a Dublin residential portfolio, plus Legal & General’s commitment to invest GBP750 million in developing affordable housing.
