Eskmuir’s Diversified Property Fund for Charities secures GBP6m in latest fundraising round

The Diversified Property Fund for Charities (DPFC), managed by Eskmuir, has secured circa GBP6 million in its latest fundraising round, which combined with valuation gains, has led to a 20 per cent growth in assets under management at the fund over the course of the latest financial year.

Since its launch, The fund has attracted charity investors across sectors including education, healthcare, nature conservation, animal welfare and the Church, with all seed investors now having added to their initial investment. 

Eskmuir launched DPFC in 2015 as a tax efficient unit trust for charity investors seeking access to a diversified actively managed and focused commercial property portfolio. The fund currently has circa GBP62 million assets under management, in line with the company’s five-year plan.
The fund consistently meets its performance targets and continues to offer an attractive income profile for investors and has delivered a total return of 44 per cent (12 per cent annualised) to seed investors since inception i.e. 23 per cent distribution return and 21 per cent growth in unit value. The distribution is paid quarterly, has grown circa 2.5 per cent over the last 12 months and currently provides a distribution yield of circa 6 per cent. Investors benefit from a clear investment strategy built on Eskmuir’s robust track record of 27 consecutive years of dividend growth.
