Five Guys to open second restaurant in Berlin

US burger chain Five Guys is planning to open a second restaurant, a 400 sq m outlet at a prime Kurfürstendamm location on Joachimsthaler Strasse 10 leased from a major insurance company. The lease was brokered by COMFORT and its partner Cushman & Wakefield.

The first Five Guys restaurant in the German capital will be opening before the end of the year in the ‘Mercedes Platz Quarter’, which is part of Berlin’s Friedrichshain district.
“We’re delighted to be supporting the Five Guys expansion in Berlin, where burger fans can’t wait for the restaurant to open. The second restaurant will be right next to Kurfürstendamm, Berlin’s most prestigious shopping boulevard and a high-traffic tourist destination,” says Ronald Steinhagen, Managing Director of COMFORT Berlin.
COMFORT is Cushman & Wakefield’s co-operation partner for retail property letting in Germany. The two partners have advised many other international brands beside Five Guys, including Sambio Café and Miniso Home, in conjunction with their German market entry, and have an exclusive mandate from Ted Baker.
