Invesco Real Estate adds to residential investment team

Invesco Real Estate (IRE) has appointed Victoria Stanley as director of fund management for residential investment.

Since launching its UK residential programme spearheaded by John German in 2014, IRE’s UK residential investments are now approaching GBP1 billion including pipeline deals, complementing the firm’s push into UK/European operational real estate which currently stands at GBP1.75 billion.

Andy Rofe, Managing Director, Invesco Real Estate – Europe, says: "We are absolutely delighted that Victoria has decided to join the Invesco Real Estate team. Her arrival corresponds with our clients’ growing appetite for investment into the UK residential market due to its potentially strong income component and ability to add diversification to multi-asset portfolios – of particular importance to UK LGPS and pension fund investors. Victoria’s expertise across the UK and Europe complements the experience of our existing team of residential specialists.”

Stanley brings 12 years’ transactional and operational real estate experience from across the UK and Europe to IRE, joining from Long Harbour where she contributed to the firm’s establishment and growth of its residential fund strategy, deploying circa GBP350 million into the UK PRS and BtR market.

Stanley says: "I am very excited to join Invesco Real Estate, a global, diversified investment manager that has established itself over the recent market cycles as a key player in the international real estate market, managing investments on behalf of both domestic and non-domestic investors. I am looking forward to further developing IRE’s business in the UK where we currently see extensive opportunities for our clients, in particular, within the residential sector."
