LabTech opens new Holborn building

LabTech has launched 14-15 Southampton Place, a 7,900 sq ft property nestled in the heart of London’s Bloomsbury area of Holborn.

The space is housed in an elegant Georgian Grade II listed terraced building, and provides a range of spacious meeting rooms and private offices.
Southampton Place is the second building – after Hogarth House – in LabTech’s Holborn campus which features interconnected, state-of-the art buildings. The campus offers easy access to Holborn, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road stations.
LabTech’s offering extends beyond its property portfolio. The company’s network is underpinned by technology that it says helps nurture, support and entertain its members. It offers everything from in-house tech teams with 24/7 support, to management software providing real-time business insight:
Chen Moravsky, LabTech CEO, says, “LabTech is unique in owning all of its properties and infrastructure so there is a level of autonomy in how we deliver exactly what our communities need. The pioneering technology we have built is also being utilised by other large companies across the UK.”
“This combination of property and technology creates strong communities that are able to effectively collaborate and share resources, be it technology, infrastructure or culture. The purpose of LabTech is to redefine how we work and live by creating an environment that inspires, encourages collaboration and engineers productivity. This is supported by community areas and social functions that help to bring people together.”
Moravsky adds: “Through property and technology we allow members to communicate with one another and grow as a living breathing community. Collaboration is a large component of the ecosystems that we are building at LabTech. Our facilities, tech and culture effectively nurture growing businesses.”
LabTech owner Teddy Sagi is known as a visionary entrepreneur who owns property across London, including Camden Market and Holborn’s Sicilian Avenue. He brings his tech expertise and considerable resources to the company. Earlier this year LabTech announced plans to expand its presence to Kings Cross, featuring a mixture of living and working properties due to launch in 2019.
LabTech’s new CEO Chen Moravsky brings over two decades of experience in business development, hospitality and real estate to the company. Before joining LabTech, Moravsky served as the Deputy Chief Executive and CFO of PPHE Hotel Group, where he was responsible for overseeing both operational and fiscal activities across the business.
