Kennedy Wilson brokers four new restaurant leases in Santa Monica

The brokerage division of Kennedy Wilson has represented the landlord in four new restaurant leases at Stanford Court on Santa Monica’s Wilshire corridor.

The new restaurants include: The Habit, an American fast-casual restaurant; La Scala, an upscale, neighbourhood Italian restaurant; Luna Grill, a fresh Mediterranean eatery; and sandwich-maker Jimmy Johns. Ranging from approximately 1,200 to 2,250 square feet, the spaces face Wilshire Boulevard between Stanford and Berkeley Avenues at 3001 and 3023 Wilshire Boulevard.
Christine Deschaine, senior vice president of brokerage at Kennedy Wilson, and Clare Collins, sales associate at Kennedy Wilson, represented the landlord, Stanford Court Properties, in the transactions.
“This is exciting news for the overall Santa Monica community as we are helping to launch the first Habit and Luna Grill restaurants in Santa Monica,” says Deschaine. “The area has been lacking variety in the restaurant space, and all four of these eateries bring a variety of options to serve both the daytime office population and local residents.
The Habit, La Scala and Luna Grill will occupy the former SOUTH sports bar premises at the west end of the centre on Wilshire Blvd.
“Dividing the large space into smaller eateries keeps up with the demand for smaller restaurant sizes on the Westside,” Deschaine says. “This refreshed tenant mix is just what the area needed.”
