PGIM Real Estate names new head of European Investment Research
PGIM Real Estate has promoted Greg Kane, currently executive director on the Investment Research Team, to head of European Investment Research.
In this role, Kane is responsible for leading the European Research team in supporting the portfolio, asset management, acquisitions and marketing efforts of the regional and global businesses. He also becomes a member of the European Investment Committee. He will continue to be based in London and report to Peter Hayes, global head of investment research.
Kane’s promotion reflects his depth of research experience and his insight into the trends that drive real estate markets. As head of European Investment Research, he will further enhance PGIM Real Estate’s research capability and strengthen its ability to continually deliver innovative, market-leading intelligence to its investment teams and clients around the world.
Kane has been instrumental driving PGIM Real Estate’s research efforts in Europe. His range of contributions include building out portfolio investment strategies to developing pricing models and leading indicators. He is also lead author of PGIM Real Estate’s annual Global Outlook and Global Trends research papers.
Kane joined the European Investment Research team in 2008 as an associate and was promoted to executive director last year. Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, Kane was a research analyst at DTZ Research (now Cushman & Wakefield). He holds a master of science in economics and finance from Warwick University and a bachelor of science with honours, in economics from Bath University.
