GWM Group acquires Da Vinci Market Central for EUR130m

GWM Group has completed the acquisition of the retail park Da Vinci Market Central in Rome from AIG/Lincoln for EUR130m.

 
Funds managed by the GWM Group completed the acquisition of MCF S.r.l. from AIG/Lincoln.
 
MCF is the owner of the retail park Da Vinci Market Central.  Located in the Rome airport area, Da Vinci is the largest retail park in Italy with over 56,000 sq m of lettable area and in excess of 10 million visitors per year. The transaction has a value in excess of EUR130m and has been partially funded through the recourse to bank debt arranged by Natixis and ING.
 
The acquisition falls in GWM's strategy to acquire prime and well performing assets in Italy and across Europe and capitalise on the scarcity of investment capital available in the real estate sector.
