LaSalle agrees long lease with DFS in Stirling

LaSalle Investment Management has agreed a long lease with DFS Trading on Phase 1 of Springkerse Retail Park off Kerse Road in Stirling.

The sofa and furniture retailer will be piloting its “small store” format for the first time in the UK from Unit 6 at the park, which comprises 10,020 square feet. DFS has agreed a new 15-year lease and the store will open in December this year.
Totalling 300,000 square feet, Springkerse is Stirling’s only retail warehouse location. Phase 1 is anchored by B&Q and Morrisons with other significant occupiers including Currys, Pets at Home and Halfords.
Richard Debney at LaSalle says: “We’re delighted to have agreed this long lease with such a significant tenant. It’s a real boost to Springkerse Retail Park that it has been chosen to trial the new small store scheme for the first time in the UK and highlights the park’s strong retail position in Scotland.”
