GTIS Partners, a real estate private equity firm headquartered in New York City, has named Amy Boyle managing director and chief financial officer.
Boyle, who replaces former CFO Grace Cheng, will have responsibility for fund accounting and reporting, treasury management, taxation, financings and structuring activities. She will also oversee financial activities relating to the firm’s management company.
Boyle is located in GTIS Partners’ New York headquarters and reports to chief operating officer and general counsel, Tom Feldstein.
Prior to joining GTIS Partners, Boyle served as chief financial officer of three publicly-registered real estate investment trusts advised by American Realty Capital. Previously, she was chief financial officer for the Clarion Lion Properties Fund, Clarion Partners’ flagship real estate fund.
“We’re delighted to welcome Amy back to GTIS, an environment and role she knows well,” says GTIS Partners’ president and chief investment officer Tom Shapiro. “Amy was a superior financial management professional when she originally worked here. The experience she gained in her subsequent CFO roles will serve us extremely well. We’re looking forward to working with Amy again and to the many valuable contributions she’ll make to our franchise.”
”I am thrilled to rejoin the team at GTIS,” says Boyle. “The firm has grown significantly since my departure in 2009, and I continue to be impressed by the foresight the team has in the real estate sector both domestically and abroad. I look forward to working with my former colleagues, and many new ones, as we continue to grow the franchise and offer exciting opportunities to our investors.”
