John Mulcahy has been appointed to the board of IPUT with effect from 17 July 2014.
IPUT is the largest indirect commercial real estate fund in Ireland with approximately EUR1 billion in debt-free commercial property assets under management, largely concentrated in offices in the Dublin central business district.
Mulcahy retired last January as a director of NAMA where he was head of asset management at the agency.
He previously led the Jones Lang LaSalle advisory practice in Ireland.
Frank Close, chairman of IPUT plc, says: “I believe John’s wealth of knowledge and experience of commercial property will significantly contribute to IPUT’s continued evolution, and will assist us in enhancing the growth and value of the company in the interests of our shareholders.”
