Richard den Hartigh, Valad Europe’s head of asset management for the Benelux region, says: “It is important for us to be able to attract new tenants to our assets as well as retaining and extending leases with existing tenants. Our remit to manage the Landmark Portfolio is clearly focussed on implementing an intensive asset management strategy and letting vacant units in order to improve income and capital values of the assets. The success of these lease transactions is testament to the skills of our local team of asset managers, using their local knowledge and skills to attract and retain a strong mix of tenant customers.”
Valad Europe has a team of 24 people in Benelux region, working out of its offices in Amsterdam and Luxembourg, managing more than EUR400 million of funds, invested in approximately 65 assets comprising office and industrial space and accommodating 650 tenants.
