Real estate lawyer Rob O’Hanrahan has joined the London office of UK law firm SGH Martineau as a partner after over seven years with Herbert Smith Freehills.
O’Hanrahan has a broad range of experience, including investment (sales and purchases), development, lettings (landlord and tenant) and corporate support, whilst acting for a variety of clients across a range of sectors, with particular expertise in acting for private equity investors in the industrial/distribution warehouse sector.
O’Hanrahan says: “If I had to sum up my reason for joining SGH Martineau in one word, it would be ‘opportunity’. The senior management team outlined the firm’s bold new strategy and the part I can play in driving it. I sensed the ambition; the passion the firm has to do things differently and although it will be a challenge, I believe I have a great opportunity to strengthen my client relationships and help this firm grow.”
Head of the real estate group at SGH Martineau, Carmela Inguanta, says: “I believe Rob is a perfect fit for SGH Martineau, both on a personal level and with his particular skill set. He has advised some of the UK’s leading real estate developers and investors, who all think very highly of Rob and his personal brand of pragmatic, commercially astute legal advice.”
