Cushman & Wakefield has appointed David Mills as partner and head of portfolio valuation.
Mills (pictured) joins the firm from BNP Paribas Real Estate where he has been a director in its portfolio valuation practice since 2006.
He has advised a number of high profile institutional funds, several with GBP1bn-plus commercial property portfolios including NFU Mutual, British Airways Pension Fund and Royal London Asset Management.
Mills will work closely with Rupert Dodson, Cushman & Wakefield’s UK chairman and global co-head of valuation & advisory, and David Lusher, CEO valuation & advisory UK.
Lusher says: “We believe the market cycle is now at the right point to invest strongly in growing our existing portfolio valuation business, reinforcing our best-in-class valuation & advisory service offering. David is a highly motivated and ambitious professional and comes to us with a wealth of contacts, knowledge and expertise in portfolio valuation. We look forward to working with David in the near future as we look to grow the business even further.”
