James Chapman, partner and previous head of Cushman & Wakefield’s capital markets in Czech Republic & Slovakia, has been appointed to head up the firm’s capital markets team for Central Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia).
Chapman takes over from Charles Taylor who previously led the Central European capital markets team before he was appointed managing partner of the firm’s Polish office on 1 July 2013.
Jonathan Hallett, head of Cushman & Wakefield in Central Europe, says: “We welcome James to his new role which is aligned with our growth strategy for the Central European region and our focus on delivering a more integrated platform to enhance the service levels to our domestic and international clients.”
Chapman joined Cushman & Wakefield's Prague office in 2001 and has led the capital markets team for the Czech Republic and Slovakia for the past seven years. Notable recent successes include the sale of The Park for Aberdeen. He has also previously worked in the firm's London office and will now relocate to Warsaw.
