Carlton closed over USD5bn of highly structured, equity and debt transactions throughout the US and Europe in 2012.
Carlton participated in some of the top real estate deals in 2012 including the USD1bn blockbuster deal at 701 Seventh Avenue, which was one of the top retail, signage and hospitality development transactions in Manhattan in 2012.
The firm also arranged and closed a USD400m construction loan at 432 Park Avenue, the USD300m investment sale at 14 Wall Street and raised the equity and debt capital for Winthrop Realty’s multi-billion dollar acquisition of the fulcrum debt positions in the four million square foot Cabi office portfolio in California and one million square foot Sullivan Center in Chicago.
In addition, Carlton also completed one of the largest single asset real estate transaction in Europe in 2012 when it completed the EUR250m discounted loan payoff and recapitalization at the Four Seasons in Milan.
