Frank Nickel appointed executive chairman of C&W’s EMEA corporate finance team

Cushman & Wakefield, the global property adviser, has appointed Frank Nickel as executive chairman of the firm’s corporate finance business in EMEA. 

Nickel will continue in his role as managing partner/CEO of Cushman & Wakefield in Germany.  
 
Cushman & Wakefield’s corporate finance team in EMEA comprises 28 employees and provides transaction and financial advisory services to property investors, occupiers, banks and fund managers. 
 
Carlo Barel di Sant’Albano, international CEO at Cushman & Wakefield, says: “Frank’s outstanding track record in real estate finance and his many years of experience leading and building teams, gives him the perfect credentials to further grow and enhance our expert corporate finance team in EMEA.”
 
Nickel took over leadership of Cushman & Wakefield in Germany in January 2012. He has since led the business’ five German offices – Frankfurt, where he is based; Berlin; Düsseldorf; Hamburg; and Munich – which have approximately 220 employees.
 
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Nickel led the commercial real estate group of Deutsche Bank for six years. He has over 20 years of experience in the real estate business.
