Douglas Emmett appoints chief investment officer
Real estate investment trust Douglas Emmett has appointed Kevin Crummy to its executive management team as its chief investment officer.
Prior to joining Douglas Emmett, Crummy spent 20 years at Eastdil Secured, a real estate investment banking company, where he was a managing director focused on sales and recapitalisations in Los Angeles, Hawaii and the other major West Coast markets.
Crummy also led the Eastdil Secured team that sourced Asian capital for real estate transactions in the US and Europe.
Jordan Kaplan, president and chief executive, says: "I have worked closely with Kevin for almost 20 years while he was at Eastdil Secured and have come to trust his experience and judgment. He will be a great addition to our senior management team."
