IDI Gazeley (Brookfield Logistics Properties) has appointed Julien Millet as construction director France.

Appointed at the start of July, Millet assumes immediate responsibility for the management and delivery of all construction and project development activity undertaken by IDI Gazeley in France from bid preparation, project team assembly and management through to successful project completion.

Millet will also work in close collaboration with the newly expanded France acquisitions and development team with responsibility for the technical/economic evaluation and appraisal of logistic and distribution assets being considered for acquisition in France.

Millet brings over 16 years knowledge and expertise of the logistics and distribution sector. Most recently he was technical director for SEGRO, a position he held for six years.

Fabrice Cervoni, IDI Gazeley France managing director, says: “We are delighted to welcome Julien as a further reinforcement into our expanding team.  His considerable knowledge and experience will be a great asset to our operations in France going forward.  We are already seeing the benefit of his expertise and experience with the strong management and supervision of the construction of the 51,000 sq m (549,000 sq ft) new national distribution centre for Toys R Us at Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry and the 13,400 sq m (144,000 sq ft) logistics warehouse for Relay France at Marly-la-Ville.

“This appointment once again further demonstrates our clear commitment and stated ambition to always offer the very best service and support to our customers throughout France.”
