Catella appoints Beyerle as group head of research

Catella has appointed Dr Thomas Beyerle as group head of research.

Beyerle will work to expand Catella’s market research activities within the property advisory operations in Europe.
He will have a cross-company role and work both globally with Catella’s 11-country property advisory operations, as well as with its property advisory division and its property fund operation unit in Germany.
He also becomes managing director for the new subsidiary Catella Property Valuation.
He will be based at the Catella office in Frankfurt.
“Catella has a very interesting profile on the European property market, with high end advisory services complemented by asset management operations. I look forward to developing Catella’s research activities and raising our profile and voice as market experts,” says Beyerle.
“I’m very excited to have Dr Beyerle join Catella. His extensive expertise will surely strengthen our organisation. His cross-company position will also help facilitate exchange of property know-how and increase cooperation within the Group,” says Johan Ericsson, head of corporate finance at Catella.
Beyerle was most recently managing director and head of sustainability activities and research at IVG Immobilien. Prior to that position, he was head of global research at Aberdeen Group. In addition, Beyerle has lectured in real estate analysis at university level for the last 15 years, and is board member of GiF, the German Property Research Association.
