Hermes Real Estate makes two new appointments

Hermes Real Estate has appointed Edward Sellick as senior asset manager and Charles Flather as an investment surveyor.

Sellick has over 25 years of property experience and joins from M&G Real Estate, where he held an asset management role focusing on major regional retail assets, including Manchester Arndale and The Mall at Cribbs Causeway. Prior to this, Sellick held positions at Aviva and JLL.
In his new role, Sellick will report into David Price, head of asset management, and will continue to focus his expertise on major regional retail assets, including thecentre:mk.
Flather previously worked at Bidwells, where he focused on cross-sector buying and selling on behalf of a number of Cambridge University College funds. In his new role he will be reporting into Chris Mathew, director, and Mark Beattie, deputy fund manager, and will be covering acquisitions and disposals on behalf of the Hermes Property Unit Trust, alongside other investor clients.
Chris Taylor, chief executive, Hermes Real Estate, says: “Ed and Charlie are welcome additions to the team, bringing with them much experience and expertise. Attracting top talent is important in maintaining a market leading position and these appointments will add to our judicious balance between industry experience and emerging talent. We feel both Edward and Charles’ appointments are demonstrative of Hermes Real Estate’s commitment to provide our clients with best in class service.”
