Hispania acquires Hotel Guadalmina

Hispania Activos Inmobiliarios has acquired, in an off-market transaction, Hotel Guadalmina Spa & Golf Resort in Marbella, Spain for a total consideration of EUR21.5 million, fully disbursed with Hispania’s own funds.

The hotel has been acquired from the .wner family group and was preceded by the purchase, to a financial institution, of the mortgage debt secured by the hotel.
Hotel Guadalmina Spa & Golf Resort is on the beachfront, with direct access to one of the best golf courses in the area and located in one of Marbella’s most exclusive areas. With its current four star rating, the hotel offers 178 rooms and a broad range of installations and adjacent services.
It is currently operated by an independent hotel operator through a lease agreement ending in March 2015.
Hispania’s strategy for Hotel Guadalmina includes a significant investment plan in order to reposition the asset as one of the most attractive hotels in Marbella.
