Fleming Mayfair announces GBP2m investment
Flemings Mayfair has announced an investment of GBP2m in a major refurbishment programme at the luxury boutique hotel originally converted from six Georgian town houses.
Work has already started on the project’s GBP1m phase one. Its six newly refurbished suites and apartments will be unveiled in April, including the penthouse and roof terrace.
Hidden away in Half Moon Street, the new suites and apartments will offer guests luxury accommodation in London’s bustling Mayfair and a separate entrance on Clarges Street ensuring discretion and privacy.
Designed by hospitality consultancy Suna Interior Design, each of the one, two and three-bedroom suites and apartments will have its own individual theme. There will be naturally lit living areas and fully equipped kitchens.
The second phase of the programme – refurbishing the hotel’s 115 guest bedrooms – will begin in early 2015 following an additional GBP1m injection.
Oliver JQ Brown, general manager, Flemings Mayfair says: “We’re thrilled to announce news of our exciting and ambitious plans; with the first phase of redesigning and refurbishing our suites and apartments well underway. Already renowned for our quality, boutique offering and exceptional service, the GBP2m investment will elevate Flemings Mayfair to new levels. Whether guests stay with us days, weeks or months, our suites and apartments will offer the ultimate in luxury living.”
