Diamona & Harnisch launches seventh residential project in Berlin
Diamona & Harnisch has launched its seventh residential project in Berlin with the purchase of a 12,700 square metre garden plot.
The project will see two historic mansions on the grounds, which are located between Altensteinstrasse, Wichernstrasse and Ehrenbergstrasse in close proximity to the Botanical Gardens, professionally refurbished. New mansions, whose architecture will complement the classic design of the legacy buildings, are also to be constructed.
Once completed, “Paulinum-Dahlem” will offer a wide variety of residential formats, with apartment sizes ranging from about 50 to 200 square metres.
One of the two historic mansions is listed as protected monument.
“This makes the ‘Paulinum-Dahlem’ highly interesting for private investors, too, as buyers stand to benefit from deductions for depreciations,” says Alexander Harnisch, managing director of Diamona & Harnisch.
The Paulinum-Dahlem will be the seventh residential project realised in Berlin by Diamona & Harnisch – a project developer itself based in Berlin – and simultaneously the company’s third project in the Borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf.
“The projects Fichtenberg Carré and KönigsQuartier have shown that the borough is characterised by a keen demand for modern townhouses that combine contemporary design with energy-efficient architecture. That is why we always look into the possibility of using geothermal heating,” says Harnisch.
