REC Real Estate Consultancy, a property consultancy firm specialising in any business area involving technical asset management, has appointed Dieter Reineck as chief technology officer.
“With Dieter Reineck, a technical expert has joined our team who will use his experience and qualifications to advance our technical services division in definitive ways. His expertise in the areas of FM process facilitation and tender support, in particular, are important for the expansion of our services,” says Jens Dehnbostel, managing director of REC.
Reineck (pictured) studied, among others, energy consultancy and energy management at the Berlin University of Technology. Before transferring to REC, he worked for the renowned project controlling firm Arcadis for over ten years.
With the recruitment of Reineck, the service spectrum will expand to include the business areas “life cycle analysis of technical equipment,” “operating cost analysis” and “quality audits to review technical and infrastructural services.” Energy analyses and energy consultancy as well as energy inspections in compliance with the Energy Saving Ordinance ENEV 2009 that are mandatory for air conditioning systems older than ten years represent other core areas. Additional responsibilities include the inspection of drinking-water installations pursuant to the hygiene criteria of VDI Guideline 6023, and extending up to acceptances of entire mechanical services systems of buildings.
The just upgraded technical services division already included key responsibilities such as fire prevention and protection, review and optimisation of floor areas, assistance with planning applications and contract negotiations, as well as life cycle cost analysis.
“Our team is experiencing brisk growth in analogy to the volume of our projects. Rather than prioritising growth at any cost, we place a premium on quality, especially in terms of technical expertise and audit accuracy. This is why we will keep using the utmost care in our recruitments and upholding the highest requirements,” says Dehnbostel.
