Valad Europe’s 50/50 joint venture with Stirling Council, Stirling Development Agency (SDA), has acquired 36 acres of land for Kildean Business Park, a 400,000 sq ft development providing Grade A office, retail and leisure space, north of Stirling.
Occupying a prominent location, adjacent to Junction 10 of the M9 motorway, Kildean Business Park will comprise a range of office pavilions and a HQ facility of up to 100,000 sq ft. Kildean is particularly well suited to companies looking for centrally located offices in Scotland.
Andy Richardson, Valad’s Head of UK Development, says: “The acquisition of 36 acres of land from The Crown Estate provides an excellent location for SDA to develop the Kildean Business Park. With detailed planning consent already in place for the initial infrastructure works, the dedicated link from the Kildean Roundabout has been completed and work will start soon for the provision of a family pub and restaurant as well as a children’s nursery.
“Once complete, the business park will complement another successful SDA development, the nearby 236,000 sq ft Castle Business Park, providing local jobs and increasing economic stimulus across the region.”
With offices in London, Edinburgh, Leeds and Scarborough, Valad Europe’s UK real estate team of 80 people manages over GBP750 million of assets in the UK, comprising 12.4 million sq ft of commercial and industrial space, across 220 properties, accommodating 1,300 tenants.
