Cushman & Wakefield hires Hanns-Joachim Fredrich to head Berlin office

Cushman & Wakefield has hired Hanns-Joachim Fredrich as a Partner and head of its Berlin office. Fredrich 45, joins Cushman & Wakefield on 1 June 2012 after 15 years with DTZ Germany. 

In addition to heading the firm’s Berlin office he will be specifically focused on building Cushman & Wakefield’s capital markets business.
 
Dr Martin Braun, head of  Cushman & Wakefield’s German Capital Markets Group, says: “In Hanns-Joachim Fredrich we have secured a highly regarded and experienced real estate professional who as a member of  our management team, will be instrumental in the driving the expansion and development of our capital markets business.”
 
The further growth of the capital markets service line is a main focus of Cushman & Wakefield’s expansion plans in Germany in 2012 in line with the firm’s strategic growth plan. The company currently has capital markets teams in Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.
