Chartwell Seniors Housing Real Estate Investment Trust has appointed Sharon Sallows as a member of the board of directors of Chartwell Master Care.

Sallows is a member of the board of trustees of Riocan Real Estate Investment Trust, the board of directors of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Pan, and is chair of the board of directors of Executive Risk Services, a private Lloyds of London coverholder specialising in professional liability, trade credit, privacy and network liability insurance.

She has over 25 years of experience having held numerous high level banking, real estate finance, management and advisory positions.

Sallows is a former executive vice president of MICC Properties, and has previously held positions at a major Canadian chartered bank, including senior vice president, real estate and corporate banking.
